About this site
Finance is one vertical of Get Daily Deck, a small network of focused sites covering money, health, careers, travel, temples and more. Each one does a single job properly rather than trying to be everything.
How the calculators are built
Every calculation runs in your browser as plain JavaScript. There is no backend, no account, and no database — which means the numbers you type in cannot be collected, because there is nowhere for them to go.
The financial maths lives in one shared module and is simulated month by month wherever that matters, so step-up SIPs, part years and amortisation schedules behave the way real statements do rather than the way a simplified formula would suggest.
Keeping it accurate
Tax slabs and similar rules are stored as dated data with the financial year attached, so you can always see which year a result belongs to. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us — corrections are welcome and get priority.
What this site is not
It is not financial advice and not a substitute for a professional. See the disclaimer for the full position.
